
The core components of the Continual Improvement Programme are the Business Process Models and the Management System. They are built to comprehensively represent the Organisation's operations. From these 2 components, the Management Dashboard is built to keep a "finger on the pulse" on the Organisation's operations and the bottom line.
The Business Process Models are built by talking to all relevant staff and management and through operations' observation. The deliverable is an accurate diagrammatic representation of the Organisation's operations and processes, available in paper and electronic forms. This becomes the basis for building the Management System and the Management Dashboard that are then used to enable continual improvements.
In most organisations, the Management System will already exist but not perhaps in a diagrammatic form for all to see and improve.
